Pho House - Germantown: The Local Gem for Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine

Been here a quite a few times. Always the same thing. Sit down, read menu, order, wait 5 minutes or so, and eat. Plenty of options ranging from rice dishes to noodle soups. I usually stick with my combination pho. Perfect for the Sunday hangovers, case of the sniffles, or just a comforting meal. Environment is pretty calm. Not too loud and lights aren’t too bright. Sometimes I have to sit next to a dirty table stacked with dirty dishes. Usually not too busy. Servers are pretty nice and don’t pester you too much if you’re not the social type.

Small shop but the pho is ALWAYS ON POINT! They don’t miss. I always try to order an avocado shake and not every full place got it but this place always has fresh avocados on deck. Much appreciating that on their part.

All around delicious Vietnamese food from their pho to additional vermicelli bowls and banh mis! Their pho is clear and on the meatier side that’s not on the sweeter side with not too much of a cilantro but rather an add-in, leaving room for more customization with the sauces and additional toppings. I’ve been coming here for the last 4 years and will keep coming back for more!

If you are going for Pho! Very tasty and affordable. ..Where the locals eat. Relaxed atmosphere and informal. This is your place. Portions are skimpy ex. 2 shrimp along with much pork and fried pork fat cubes..plenty vermicelli noodles, but not any veggies aside from fresh sprouts to basil sprigs on the side. But soup Broth is really good!!

I usually come here for Pho when I’m feeling under the weather. My co-worker frequents the G7 Crispy Cornish Hen (Ga Ro-Ti) I placed an order for carry out. The G7 Crispy Cornish Hen w/tomato rice and a lemon pepper sauce. I added some Garden rolls with a peanut sauce to my order. They told me about 10 mins. Everything was fresh and ready for pickup within 10 mins. I walked in and paid right away. The Hen was so crispy and delightful. The tomato rice was refreshing and really balanced out the meal. They even included a light pickled slaw. The garden rolls were yummy and had a fantastic crunch to them. Overall it was delicious. I will be getting the G7 again and probably will be trying other things on the menu! 10/10

Consistent and always tasty, friendly staff and fast service, I love the crispy rolls and the Pho #1. The bánh mi's are also very good here! There are always tables available and plenty of parking, it is a small and simple dining room but very clean and the smell of the broth fills the room!

Love the ample parking. Service was very prompt & friendly since the moment walking in. Food came out fast. Everything tasted fresh & good. Broth was very good. I was too full to try the new ice cream flavors like thai tea. I'm looking forward to the next visit to try it.
